Luan began her journey working at McDonough County Rehabilitation Center (part of the Community Mental Health Center) in August 1973.

She assumed the role of Executive Assistant with the creation of Bridgeway Inc. and has continued to assume those responsibilities since 1993. Luan is married to Darrell and has two children Christina and Kyle.
