Bill Nelson Bill Nelson, Chief Operating Officer for Bridgeway also began serving as the Corporate Compliance Officer and Director of Quality Management July 1, 2008. Nelson began his career at Bridgeway (formerly Spoon River Center) in 1988 as an outpatient mental health and substance abuse counselor. Nelson had served in a variety of positions before becoming the Vice President of Family Services Division for Bridgeway Inc. in March 1996. This was followed by Nelson’s promotion to Senior Vice President in September 2000. Nelson assumed the duties as Chief Operating Officer in April 2005. Nelson received an MS Ed in Agency Counseling from Western Illinois University in 1988. Nelson is also a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and a Licensed Child Welfare Professional in the State of Illinois. In spring 2008 Bill received training and credentialing for HUD Assisted Housing Manager. He is married to Rhonda Nelson, who has also been employed with Bridgeway since 1988. Rhonda currently serves as Vice President of Behavioral Health Services. |
