Having an episode of psychosis is a life changing experience. Psychosis refers to a collection of symptoms that affect the mind, where there has been some loss of contact with reality. During an episode of psychosis, a person’s thoughts and perceptions are disrupted and they may have difficulty recognizing what is real and what is not.

Bridgeway’s caring approach is a specialized treatment program helping individuals ages 14-40, providing support and education for the individual and family, to improve recovery, to reduce the chances of relapse and to set goals for the future. These goals are achieved through counseling, psychiatric care, supported employment/education, family education and recovery support.
